Adwords Automated Reporting
One of the features that Google offers when using Adwords is a Client Reporting tool. This option lets you generate reports that can monitor:
- The performance of your ads
- The performance of your keywords
- The performance geographically
- The performance demographically…
You can then break these reports down into meaningful time periods such as:
- The last 7 days
- The last month
- The last business week (Mon-Fri)…
As you continue down the list of options you are able to customise the report to include/exclude certain fields.
Finally you can then save your report and even specify when it should run, i.e. the 1st of the month, what format it should be, i.e. Excel, and then who should receive it via email.
So at the start of each month you can logon to your computer and waiting for you in your email inbox is a performance report for your pay per click ads that took less than 5 minutes to create and will run each and every month without you needing to anything else.
